I had it installed but I never got into it in the end....watched all Boom CHicago stuff and stopped after that

True - I am pretty happy keeping TV and computer apart myself. Tele2 TV has enough crap for me to watch - I don't need all the drivel that one finds on Cable in the US or Canada. If there's something I really want to watch (taped) - I am finding it more and more that someone has uploaded it on to youtube or the network/station that runs it has it available online already.

Live stuff I turn on the T.V. - Like World Cup or European Championship Rugby or Football - which I occasionally watch. I have Pinnacle on my P.C. but don't even use it these days.

well I've been following 24, Prison Break, Heroes, Top Chef, Hell's Kitchen....all kinds of series and I like to see them when they come available...

ooooo...and LOST as well....never watched it until friend from office told me it's good....so I got myself all 3 seasons....and while wife and kids were in Germany, watched them all pretty much in a row
not bad..

Lost drove me nuts. Never did figure out what that thing was out there in the bush rustling about.... The writing crapped out as they tried to extend the series waaaay beyond its natural life.

Give me Heroes anyday.

well season 4 about to start and we STILL don't know what the f**k it was that thing...looks like a swarm of bees that throw grenades and bash people about....
but I do agree...the season 3 was a bit of a letdown...give me seasons 1 of 24 and Prison Break any day!

4400 as well....although It's not that great....and Battlestar Galactica...Mr. Olmos could take a crap for 15 minutes and it would still be good enough for a movie! I like him.....although I always expect Crockett and Tubbs to come around the corner behind him every time..

Hell's Kitchen I do love .... I must admit.

Watching Ramsay's neck squeeze like a champagne cork and flush most of his red blood cells into his face as he screams at useless fucks in the kitchen is like a walk into history for me - having spent my late teens apprenticing under a drunk German overlord/chef.

He's great. I love his ideas in general - most of which we were exploring in British Columbia decades ago (fresh, local and fusion). It's nice to see the U.K. find their form with food and get past (or recover) from farting beans, limp bacon, greasy fried bread, fried soggy tomatoes, fried tepid mushrooms, and fried fat-saturated eggs for breakfast. I could describing old Pommie Lunch-grub/Stomach-warfare - but merely a few items is probably enough - Spotted Dick, Bubble & squeak, Toad in the hole, Bangers & Mash... you get the point.

Now London is the cuisine capital of the world. Go figure.

I do like Mr Ramsay....and part of me still wonders today how much of his screaming and shouting is an act...since that's what he's known amongst the general populace... (not to take away anything from his 3 Michelin Stars). But the more I watch him, it seems to be that it's just his way....and he cares about his food and it's his way or no way...fair enough...he's got the resume and history to back up what he says..
Although he does get bonus-points for throwing Joan Collins out of one of his restaurants.....well she was there with a food-critic that Mr Ramsay didn't really agree with...

Have you considered watching Top Chef....it's a bit more like cleaned-up version of HK, but the competitors are of higher caliber to start with as well....

You gotta be kidding me right? $200+/month for watching on my PC only...and they want a year contract...crazy? I got this new service that is the REAL DEAL...watching it right now as a matter of fact on my 64" LCD...and don't have to go thru a PC to watch it! I bought their set-top box and just plugged into my FTTH connection and boom! Near HD pic...cant tell the difference really...no minimum contract...month to month.
